REQUIREMENTS :
Basic R425 qualification (i.e. diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent
qualification that lets in registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse. A
post-basic nursing qualification, with a period of at least 1 yr in Orthopaedic
Nursing Science/ Ophthalmic Nursing Science / Trauma Nursing Science
accredited with the SANC in one of the specialties referred to in the glossary
of terms. A minimal of 10 years appropriate/recognisable trip [\in
nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General
Nursing. At least 6 years of the duration referred to above should be appropriate/
recognisable ride in the particular area of expertise after acquiring the 1-year
post-basic qualification in the applicable specialty. At least three years of the period
referred to above ought to be appropriate/ recognisable journey at
management level.
DUTIES :
Delegate, supervise and coordinate the provision of an environment friendly and effective
patient care via enough nursing care. Coordinate and screen the
implementation of nursing care design and contrast thereof. Develop, establish
and keep a optimistic working relationship with nursing and other
stakeholders (inter-professional, inter-sectoral and multi-disciplinary
teamwork). Participate in the analysis, components and implementation of
nursing guidelines, practices, requirements and procedures. Manage and monitor
proper utilization of human, monetary and bodily resources. Initiate and
participate in fitness promoting to make sure regular verbal exchange of relevant,
accurate and complete facts on fitness care. Provide Guidance
and Leadership toward the attention of strategic desires and goals of the
division.
