Mpumalanga Department of health in partnership with Mpumalanga Nursing College invites all suitable individuals to apply for the Diploma in Nursing at Mpumalanga College of Nursing
To apply for the Diploma in Nursing (R171) at the Mpumalanga College of Nursing, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 36 years old.
- Educational Qualifications:
- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent, with a diploma/degree endorsement.
- English at Level 4 (HG D/SG C) or higher.
- Life Science/Biology/Physiology at Level 4 (HG E/SG D) or higher.
- Mathematics at Level 3 (HG E/SG D) or Mathematical Literacy at Level 5 or higher.
- Physical Science, Agriculture, or Geography at Level 4 or higher.
- Admission Point Score (APS): The minimum total APS for the six highest scoring subjects should not be less than 23, excluding Life Orientation.
- Residency: Applicants must be residents of Mpumalanga Province.
- Health Requirements: Applicants with disabilities will be considered in line with the inherent requirements of the nursing duties.

- South African ID document.
- National Senior Certificate (or equivalent qualification).
- Proof of residence, issued by your local municipality or Tribal Authority.
- Any additional qualifications or certificates, if applicable.
