SALARY :

R869 007 per annum, (All-Inclusive remuneration package)

REQUIREMENTS :

Three yr applicable (NQF degree 6) put up matric qualification or equivalent
qualification as recognized with the aid of SAQA; Four (4) years’ applicable journey at
supervisory/middle managerial stage in a Legal or associated environment;
Extensive understanding in language modifying (grammar; language constructions and
styles) and the provision of language advice; Knowledge of felony language and
how to work with legislation; Knowledge of schooling regulation will serve as an
advantage; Knowledge of the Public Service and relevant legislation,
including the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act 1 of 1999) (PFMA)
and Treasury Regulations; Knowledge and ride in editing, researching
and translation of felony files and legislation; Good expertise and skill
in laptop literacy (MS word, Excel and PowerPoint); Experience in
administrative associated work; Ability to generate reports; Good presentation
skills, hassle solving, self-management, time use, interest to detail;
Excellent conversation abilities (verbal and written); Good interpersonal
relation skills; Ability to work independently below strain and adhere to
deadlines; Willingness to work irregular hours.

DUTIES :

The profitable incumbent will be accountable for: Language enhancing of all
legislation that is administered by using the Department; Management and
consolidation of all legislative feedback obtained from stakeholders and the
public; Editing and translating of felony documents; Conducting of legal
research; Organizing venture group conferences pertaining to the modification of
legislation, training of documentation for the undertaking crew meetings, the taking
and finalizing of minutes and carrying out associated duties concerning to the challenge team
meetings; Coordinating and organizing HEDCOM prison subcommittee
meetings and carrying out associated duties referring to to the HEDCOM legal
subcommittee meetings; Provisioning of language recommendation to the directorate;
Maintenance of the PAIA register and dealing with PAIA requests; Dealing with
routine education-related queries from the public.

NOTE :

All shortlisted candidates will be predicted to reveal their abilities in a short
task as section of the interview and will be subjected to a safety clearance.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to endure a writing test. The successful
candidate will have to signal an annual overall performance agreement, annually
disclose his/her monetary pursuits and be subjected to a safety clearance.
