REQUIREMENTS :
A three-year applicable Bachelor’s diploma or equal qualification (NQF Level
7) with Accounting as a foremost subject; A minimal of 5 years relevant
experience in middle/senior managerial level; Preference will be given to
candidates who have working know-how of the PFMA, Treasury Regulations,
Division of Revenue Act (DoRA) Basic Accounting System (BAS) and Modified
Cash Standards (MCS); Good interpersonal and verbal exchange (written and
verbal) skills, presentation skills, analytical skills, planning skills, computer
literacy, administration and management skills.
DUTIES :
The profitable candidate will be accountable for managing the books of
account of the Department, income collection, price range management,
expenditure management, money drift administration and reporting, salaries
management, monthly and quarterly reporting on things to do of the Directorate
including on conditional grants, monetary administration and reporting of donor
funds; Ensuring that public entities comply with applicable legislation; Managing
financial structures (BAS & PERSAL); Ensuring compliance with the PFMA,
Treasury Regulations, DoRA and any different applicable law in recognize of
financial things and compiling Interim and Annual Financial Statements of
the Department.
