R1 512 009 – R1 628 850 per annum (OSD)

REQUIREMENTS :
MBChB/ MBBCh/ MD/ MBBS Degree or equal qualifications. DOH/
DOHM/ DOccMed or equivalent. A legitimate riding licence. A minimal of 10 years
appropriate journey as Medical Officer after registration with the Health
Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Medical Practitioner.
Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. Knowledge:
Compensation Fund Services, Compensation Fund Value Chain and business
processes, Public Service, DoeL and Fund regulations, insurance policies and
procedures, Fund Values, PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, Promotion of
Access to Information Act, PAJA. Skills: Strategic Capacity and Leadership,
People Management and Empowerment, Client Orientation and Customer
Focus, Required Technical proficiency, Business writing, Analytical thinking,
Decision making, Communication (verbal and written), Customer Focus and
Responsiveness, Managing inert-personal struggle and Problem solving,
Planning and Organising.
DUTIES :
Manage the compensation manner with imperative clinical expertise. Provide
guidance to decentralised clinical offerings in provinces. Develop insurance policies and
procedures on scientific services. Management of assets in the Directorate.
